Kristin Cleveland is 21 years old and, like Marilyn, a December 2004 graduate of Penn State. Kristin grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota, and first met Marilyn at the Penn State Alumni Society- Minnesota Chapter freshmen send-off picnic in July of 2001. She then ran into Marilyn again in January of 2002 at an information session for Marilyn's sorority, and they have been fast friends ever since, united in a Minnesotan outlook in a place full of Pennsylvanians (not that that is bad, Brian!). Kristin now works at the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council in Fairfax, VA as a Communications Manager, where she supports membership, marketing, and communications projects across the organization and handles day-to-day upkeep of the organization's Web portal. Kristin is not just a boring young professional, however; she can tie cherry stems in knots with her tongue and juggle both balls and rings, and she is also an avid water-skier, reader, and wallyball (volleyball in a racquetball court with a rubber ball) player. Kristin's advice for the newlyweds is "always believe that you got better than you deserved." She knows that Brian and Marilyn are a wonderful couple, however, and will undoubtedly enjoy all of the happiness they deserve and more in their future together.
